Radiant Voices, Sacred Spaces

We were thrilled to present Radiant Voices, Sacred Spaces—an unforgettable evening celebrating some of the most beloved arias and ensembles from the oratorio tradition.

The first half of the concert featured highlights from a rich variety of works, including Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, and Handel’s Ode for St Cecilia’s Day.

The evening concluded with a moving performance of Fauré’s Requiem, presented in an intimate setting with just eight classically trained voices. This chamber-scale interpretation brought a delicate richness and individual nuance to the serene beauty of Fauré’s masterpiece.

Our talented ensemble included both returning artists and new faces, with special debuts by soprano Anna Gregg and tenor Robert Folkes, who joined us for the first time at St Paul’s Opera.
